The main difference is the gear ratio. The SX features a 6.7:1 ratio with 27 cm recovery per turn, offering balanced power and control for most situations. The SX-HS (High Speed) has a 7.3:1 ratio with 32 cm recovery, delivering faster lure retrieval and better control at distance.
Both models excel for pike and zander. Choose the SX for powerful bottom work and heavy lures (up to 50g+), where controlled casting is paramount. The SX-HS suits faster, lighter presentations and longer-range casting where quick retrieval helps entice strikes.
Low-profile baitcasters are more compact and ergonomic, sitting lower in your hand for better control during casting and fighting. They reduce hand fatigue during long sessions and provide superior balance compared to round designs, especially during precision work with lighter lures.
Both models feature a maximum drag capacity of 25 lbs (11.3 kg), providing ample stopping power for large pike, zander, and catfish. The Power Stack Carbon Matrix drag system ensures smooth, consistent pressure throughout the range.
These models are left-hand retrieve, typical for baitcasters held in the right hand. The left-hand handle allows you to set the rod down immediately after casting without switching hands, improving efficiency and safety during active fishing.
