The ORRA Seatrout Spinning rods are designed for sea trout fishing. Their lightweight, responsive 30T Carbon blanks combine distance-casting performance with a forgiving bend intended to reduce hook pulls during the fight. All six two-piece models have a Moderate Fast action.
Lightweight stainless steel anti-tangle guides help limit line tangles when casting. The guides are specified as Stainless Steel LTS. A lightweight reel seat and ergonomic full grip support comfortable handling, while the hook keeper holds the hook between fishing spots.
The 842ML at 2.54 m and 5–25 g suits smaller coastal spoons and wobblers. The 902ML at 2.74 m and 7–22 g focuses on lighter lures, with a forgiving bend useful with light lines and fine-wire hooks. Both have Medium Light power.
The Medium-power 902M at 2.74 m and 10–30 g suits varied lure presentations at medium distances. Its forgiving bend is useful with thin lines and single hooks. The 1102M at 3.35 m and 15–45 g is intended for long casts with heavier coastal spoons and longer leaders along open coasts and estuaries. Choose within the stated casting range rather than treating the longer models as interchangeable.
All models separate into two sections. The 842ML weighs 166 g and packs to 131 cm. The 902ML weighs 173 g and the 902M 178 g, both with a 139 cm transport length. The 1002M models pack to 155 cm and weigh 183 g (10–30 g) or 190 g (10–45 g). The 1102M weighs 206 g and packs to 169 cm. The longer options therefore require more storage space and add rod weight.
