Yes. Every version has a machined aluminum braid-ready spool that accepts braid tied directly without slipping, plus a right/left handle position. Choose your winding side and check the stated capacity for your line diameter. Separate braid capacities are supplied for the H versions only.
Both weigh 232 g and have a 6.2:1 gear ratio and 6.4 kg maximum drag. The 2500S retrieves 69 cm per turn and holds 190 m of 0.15 mm mono. The 2500H retrieves 83 cm and holds 120 m of 0.25 mm mono. Choose between finer-line capacity and quicker line pickup using your actual line diameter.
The 4000H retrieves 96 cm per turn, compared with 89 cm for the 3000H and 83 cm for the 2500H. It also offers 9 kg maximum drag and 185 m of 0.30 mm mono capacity, but weighs 278 g rather than 238 g or 232 g. Choose it when those gains matter more than lower reel weight.
No spare spool is included with any version. The supplier specifies freshwater use, so the stainless steel bearings alone are not a saltwater-use claim. Plan line changes without an included second spool and choose a documented saltwater model if that is your intended setting.

The Abu Garcia Max Pro is a freshwater spinning reel with features inspired by the Zenon™ and Revo® series. Its asymmetric graphite frame and rotor form a compact, lightweight platform for casting and retrieving lures. Seven stainless steel ball bearings and one roller bearing provide smooth operation.
The V-Rotor reduces rotor weight and start-up inertia, helping the rotor start turning with little resistance. The V-Spool design keeps the spool compact and light. Rocket Line Management™ supports control of different fishing lines, while Rocket Spool Lip Design™ controls line leaving the spool during a cast. The machined aluminum, braid-ready spool lets you tie braid directly to it without slipping.
The aluminum handle has co-molded soft-touch knobs for grip and comfort during repeated retrieves. It can be positioned on the right or left, so you can choose your winding hand. All versions have front drag and Instant Anti-Reverse. The H versions use Carbon Matrix™ drag for smooth, consistent pressure across the drag range. No spare spool is included. All versions are White/Red.
Choose the line capacity that matches your line diameter, then compare recovery per handle turn and maximum drag. The 1000S and 2000H both weigh 213 g, but the 1000S retrieves less line per turn. The 2500S and 2500H both weigh 232 g and have 6.4 kg maximum drag and a 6.2:1 gear ratio, yet differ in line capacity and recovery. Moving to the 3000H or 4000H increases recovery and capacity at the cost of more weight.

The 1000S holds the finest specified mono diameter in the family. The 2000H offers more capacity for thicker mono at the same weight. For quicker line pickup without moving to the heavier 3000H or 4000H, compare the 83 cm recovery of the 2500H with the 69 cm of the 2500S. The 4000H offers the highest stated maximum drag and fastest line pickup. These reels are specified for freshwater use, not as saltwater models.
