At the heart of every Max 4 LP sits a DuraGear brass gear train designed for maximum durability under load. Whether you are cranking large swimbaits or fighting a strong pike, the reinforced gearing delivers reliable power transfer.
The carbon fibre drag system provides smooth, consistent pressure and is paired with a star drag for quick on-the-fly adjustments. Size 60 models offer up to 12 kg of maximum drag force.
A magnetic braking system lets you fine-tune spool tension to reduce backlash, making these reels accessible even for anglers who are newer to baitcasting.
Four stainless steel HPCR (High Performance Corrosion Resistant) ball bearings plus one roller bearing ensure a smooth, quiet retrieve.
