Both have Medium Plus power, nine guides including the tip and two sections. The 792 MP-XF is 2.36 m long and packs to 132 cm. The 902 MP-XF is 2.74 m long and packs to 151 cm. Choose the longer version for more reach or the shorter one for less transport space.
The 802 MH-XF covers 8–45 g at 2.44 m with Medium Heavy power. The 902 H-XF covers 14–60 g at 2.74 m with Heavy power. Choose according to your lure weights, since the 902 H-XF extends the upper limit but is not rated for the lighter 8–13 g weights covered by the 802.

Its lightweight, sensitive 40T Carbon + T1100G Nanotechnology blank gives direct feedback during lure presentation. The extra-fast action and very fast recovery help you control the lure and detect subtle bites. Ten versions cover casting weights from 1–8 g to 14–60 g, so choose the rating that matches your lure weight rather than treating the whole family as interchangeable.
Fuji K SiC (silicon carbide) guides have stainless steel frames and an anti-tangling design. They support smooth line travel and reduce tangles during casting. The Abu Garcia custom reel seat has an anti-slip coating for secure handling, while AAA-class cork grips provide a comfortable hold. A small, lightweight hook keeper holds the lure when you are not fishing. The deep azure blue blank is finished with dark metal accents and matte black metal components.
The 662 UL-F and 682 L-F are the shortest options for small lure weights. The 702 ML-XF and 742 MLP-XF extend that light-lure range. At the same 2.13 m length, the 702 M-XF accepts heavier lures than the 702 ML-XF but weighs 8 g more. The 762 M-XF adds length and has a 7 g minimum rating rather than the 702 M-XF's 5 g minimum.
The 792 MP-XF and 902 MP-XF share Medium Plus power and a 7–35 g rating. The 902 is 38 cm longer, giving more reach at the cost of a larger rod to handle and transport.
