Yes. Their softer tips cushion planer boards and XXL lures even in rough conditions. Choose the variant whose stated lure rating covers your lure weight.
The 862 XTR is rated 150-400g at 2.59 m. The longer 902 XXH is rated 50-230g, so choose by lure weight rather than length alone.
All models have two sections. Packed lengths run from 132 cm for the 802 H to 148 cm for the 902 XXH, so check your storage space against the individual transport length.

These freshwater baitcasting trolling rods are designed for large pike, planer boards and XXL lures. Their strong 30T Carbon blanks combine Fast action with slightly softer tips to cushion board and lure movement in rough, windy conditions. The powerful backbone supports hook-setting under load. The range has undergone long-term testing by pike anglers across Europe.
Seaguide XOG stainless steel anti-tangle guides reduce line tangles. The ergonomic KCS-type reel seat holds the reel, while full-length, high-density EVA grips resist damage in rod holders. The rod-holder-friendly design and shortened rear grips leave more space in the boat. A hook keeper accommodates XXL lure hooks.
The 802 H is the shortest and lightest option at 2.44 m and 200 g, rated 30-100g. The 842 HP increases length to 2.54 m and the rating to 40-130g at 212 g. The 862 XH offers 2.59 m and 60-180g at 237 g. At the same length, the 862 XTR handles the heaviest rated lures at 150-400g and weighs 282 g. The 902 XXH is the longest at 2.74 m, with a 50-230g rating and 281 g weight. Choose the lure range first, then compare length and weight. The XTR has the highest lure rating, not the greatest length.
Power ratings are Heavy, Heavy Plus, Extra Heavy, Extreme Heavy and Extra Extra Heavy respectively. The 802 H, 842 HP and 862 XH have 10 guides including the tip, the 862 XTR has 11 and the 902 XXH has 12.
All five green rods have two sections and cloth-bag packaging. Transport lengths are 132 cm for the 802 H, 139 cm for the 842 HP, 140 cm for the 862 XH, 141 cm for the 862 XTR and 148 cm for the 902 XXH. Compare these packed lengths with your available storage space.
