Choose Heavy for 30–90 g lures or Extra Heavy for 45–120 g. Both cover 45–90 g, but Extra Heavy extends the upper limit to 120 g and weighs 152 g rather than 145 g. Base your choice on your intended lure weights and required rod power.
They are casting rods with Fuji ACS reel seats for baitcasting reels. Pair them with a baitcasting setup for their intended freshwater pike jerkbait use, not a fixed-spool spinning setup.
Both 1.98 m rods have a 1+1 section configuration and a 161 cm transport length. Allow at least that length in your vehicle or storage space, as they do not pack down to half their assembled length. A velvet bag is supplied.
Both rods combine a 1.98 m length and Extra Fast action with fast-taper 36T Carbon blanks and nanotechnology. The supplier describes increased power and recovery speed, which support distinct rod movements when working jerkbaits for pike. Choose the lure rating to match your baits.

The Beast PRO2 casting rods are designed for freshwater pike fishing with jerkbaits. Their fast-taper 36T Carbon blanks with nanotechnology combine low weight with power and rapid recovery for working lures with distinct rod movements. Abu Garcia states that the rods are almost 20% lighter than their predecessors, with redesigned blanks that increase power and recovery speed. Both versions are 1.98 m long and have an Extra Fast action.
The Heavy version is rated for 30–90 g lures and weighs 145 g. It covers the lighter end of this pair's lure range. The Extra Heavy version is rated for 45–120 g and weighs 152 g, extending the upper lure limit by 30 g at a rod-weight increase of 7 g. Both cover 45–90 g, so choose according to the lure weights you intend to fish and the power you need.
Both rods use a Fuji ACS reel seat for a baitcasting reel. Nine Fuji K Alconite guides, including the tip, guide the line along the blank. Their stainless steel anti-tangle construction helps reduce line wrapping around the guides during casting. A-grade cork grips provide the hand contact surface, with a Split Grip layout specified for the Heavy version. Both rods have a Pyrite Brown finish.
Both versions have a 1+1 section configuration and a transport length of 161 cm. Check that your storage or vehicle can accommodate this length rather than assuming the rod packs down to half its fishing length. A hook keeper provides a place to secure the hook between casts, and each rod is supplied in a velvet bag.
