It is intended for freshwater spinning for predators such as pike and zander. Its jointed body creates a conspicuous action and displaces water, making it a choice for an active lure presentation rather than natural-bait fishing.
Both sizes float and have a stated running range from the surface to 2.5 m. The Hi-Lo system adjusts the diving depth, so you can adapt the same lure to shallow weed beds or deeper cover within that range. It is not a suspending or sinking version.
The 9 cm lure weighs 22.4 g and carries two size 4 hooks, while the 12 cm lure weighs 47 g and carries two size 2 hooks. Choose the smaller version for a smaller, lighter presentation or the larger version when you want more lure size and your tackle can handle the extra weight. Their stated depth range is identical.
Yes. Bronze Bomber, Blue Herring, Copper Perch, Firetiger, Red Tiger, Gold Black Orange, Fegis and Red Head are available in both 9 cm and 12 cm. You can choose the finish you want without changing size, and colour does not change the listed weight or hook size within that size group.
The package contains one lure in the selected size and colour. Each lure is specified with two hooks, so select separate variants if you want to carry different sizes or colours.

The Abu Garcia Beast Hi-Lo Jointed Floating is a floating, jointed hard lure for freshwater spinning for pike and zander. Its articulated body creates a conspicuous swimming action and displaces water, while the Hi-Lo system lets you adjust the diving depth to suit the water you are fishing.
Both sizes have a stated running range from the surface to 2.5 m. Adjust the Hi-Lo system for shallow weed beds or deeper cover within that range rather than changing lures solely to change depth. The lure is floating, not suspending or sinking.
The 9 cm version weighs 22.4 g and has two size 4 hooks. It offers the smaller, lighter presentation. The 12 cm version weighs 47 g and has two size 2 hooks, providing a larger presentation with more weight to cast. Choose between them by the lure size you want to present and the weight your tackle can handle, not by running depth, which is the same for both sizes.
Both sizes are available in Bronze Bomber, Blue Herring, Copper Perch, Firetiger, Red Tiger, Gold Black Orange, Fegis and Red Head. Choose the desired finish independently of size, as the length, weight and hook size remain unchanged within each size group.
The lure has durable hardware for predator fishing and contains no lead. This updated Abu classic is supplied as one lure in the selected size and colour, not a colour assortment.
