The Abu Garcia Beast 300 Low Profile series is built for anglers who throw large lures for powerful freshwater predators. Across the range, the focus stays on cranking power, firm drag performance and controlled casting with heavy baits.

Built for big lures and hard fights

The Beast 300 Low Profile reels use a purpose-built low profile baitcasting platform for demanding predator fishing. The series combines a rigid X2-Craftic aluminum frame, oversized Duragear Gen III brass gearing and a Power Stack Carbon Matrix drag system to keep control when fish pull hard.

Controlled casting performance

All variants use the Infini Brake System, which combines magnetic and centrifugal braking for controlled lure delivery. The GullWing sideplate and 95 mm bowed aluminum handle with oversized power knobs support easy handling on the water.

Common features across the range

Each reel includes 7 stainless steel HPCR bearings plus 1 roller bearing, an instant anti-reverse system, an aluminum spool and star drag. Line capacity is listed at 220 m/0.32 mm mono, 190 m/0.35 mm mono and 155 m/0.38 mm mono, with braid capacity up to 285 m/0.29 mm.

Choosing between the variants

The differences in this matrix are retrieve hand, gear ratio, retrieve per turn and max drag. The 5.8:1 models retrieve 68 cm per turn and offer up to 13.6 kg max drag, while the 7.5:1 model retrieves 89 cm per turn with up to 11.3 kg max drag. Choose left- or right-hand layout to match your preferred setup.
