The Abu Garcia Atom Vass is a classic spoon for freshwater predator fishing. Its steady wobbling action, weedless single hook, and timeless profile make it a practical choice for pike and other predatory fish when casting or trolling.
The Atom spoon has been on the market since 1949 and remains a trusted option for anglers who want a traditional metal lure with consistent action. The curved body creates flash and movement on a slow, even retrieve.
This lure is designed for freshwater use and suits pike especially well, while also appealing to other predatory fish. The spoon shape gives off strong visual signals and a clear wobble that helps fish track it in open water.
The Atom Vass can be fished from the bank or behind a boat. A slow, steady retrieve helps the spoon work as intended and keeps its action stable through the water.
Each variant uses a single hook with weed guard style protection, which helps when fishing around vegetation and light cover. That makes it easier to present the lure where predator fish often hold.
The range includes 20 g and 25 g versions in several finishes such as Silver, Copper, Zebra, Blue Dark, and Yellow Perch. Pick the weight and colour that best match your water conditions and target fish.
