The 20 g and 25 g versions are both 7.5 cm long with a size 4 hook. The 35 g version is 9 cm with a size 2 hook, and the 55 g version is 11 cm with a size 1 hook. Choose 20 g or 25 g to change weight while keeping the same lure length, or 35 g or 55 g for a larger profile and hook, using tackle suited to the selected weight.
Each weight comes in Silver, Copper, Blue/Dark, Yellow Perch, Silver/Blue Flash, Gold/Green Flash, Tiger, Zebra, Gold, Redhead and Black and Red. The Abu Garcia Atom is a classic metal spoon for pike and other freshwater predators. First sold in 1949, it combines a traditional appearance with an action suited to slow, steady retrieves. It can be cast or trolled, so the same lure serves both active lure fishing and towing behind a boat.
Fish the Atom slowly and steadily, as recommended by the supplier. All variants have a stated running depth of 1–3 m. Changing size or colour does not change that published depth range.
The range offers four weight options, each supplied with one hook:
