The FATE BLACK CAST series comprises two-piece baitcasting rods for predator lure fishing. The sensitive PVG30T carbon blank and Evolve Custom Ported Soft Touch reel seat transmit subtle bites to your hand. All versions have fast action and individually tuned tapers.
The 198 cm L version casts 3-15 g and suits small softbaits and hardbaits for perch. It weighs 140 g. The 198 cm M version covers 10-30 g for perch and zander and weighs 157 g. Both pack down to 105 cm. The 213 cm MH version covers 15-40 g for general predator lure fishing and weighs 163 g. The 213 cm H version covers 40-80 g for zander and pike and weighs 176 g. Both have a 110 cm transport length. These four versions have 8+1 guides. For large softbaits and hardbaits targeting pike, both XH versions cast 40-130 g. The 224 cm version weighs 226 g, has 9+1 guides and packs to 120 cm. The 259 cm version weighs 233 g, has 10+1 guides and packs to 140 cm. Choose between them by the rod length and transport space you need, rather than lure rating.
Evolve Tangle Free stainless steel guides with Zirconia inserts guide the line and help reduce tangles during casting. The high-density EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate) split grip provides a comfortable holding surface. The Evolve Snag-less Hook Keeper provides a place to secure the hook between spots. Evolve Fox Hole is also specified. The revised setup is lighter than the previous edition while retaining the series' tuned tapers and responsive blank.
Each rod has two sections. Check the joints, blank and guides before use and do not fish with damaged components. Respect the casting-weight rating, secure hooks and loose line for transport, and store the rod dry in a protective sleeve or tube. Keep clear of power lines and do not use the rod in thunderstorms. Children require adult supervision.
