The 5.6:1 retrieves 56 cm per turn, the 6.8:1 68 cm, the 7.5:1 75 cm and the 8.3:1 83 cm. All share size 2, a weight of 211 g and the same line capacity. Choose by line recovery speed rather than size, with 5.6:1 taking up the least line and 8.3:1 the most at the same handle pace.
All four versions are left-hand models, identified by LH in the supplier designation. The handle is operated with the left hand, so select one of these versions if that is your preferred retrieve side.
The Concept A2 is intended for active predator lure fishing with hardbaits and softbaits. Its six-way Low-Friction casting brake allows adjustment for different lure weights, but no numerical lure-weight range is supplied. Match the lure, rod and line to your setup rather than assuming a stated minimum or maximum.
Each version holds 114 m of 0.33 mm line. Capacity therefore does not change with the gear ratio, so you can choose the retrieve speed without sacrificing the stated capacity. No capacities for other line diameters are supplied.
Check the drag, handle, spool and line guide before each use and clean the reel regularly, especially after saltwater use. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for cleaning and reel oil, store it dry and replace damaged parts before fishing again. The protective frame treatment does not replace this maintenance.

The 13 Fishing Concept A2 is a left-hand baitcasting reel for active predator fishing with hardbaits and softbaits. Its Low-Friction 6-Way Braking System provides fine adjustment for different lure weights, allowing you to adapt casting control when changing lures. The ultra-low profile fits into the palm and offers 25% more line capacity without increasing the overall size.
All four versions are size 2, weigh 211 g and hold 114 m of 0.33 mm line. Their difference is the gear ratio and resulting line retrieve per handle turn. The 5.6:1 retrieves 56 cm, the 6.8:1 retrieves 68 cm, the 7.5:1 retrieves 75 cm and the 8.3:1 retrieves 83 cm. Choose 5.6:1 for less line recovery at the same handle pace, 6.8:1 or 7.5:1 for intermediate recovery, or 8.3:1 when taking up slack quickly is the priority. Higher retrieve speeds also mean winding more slowly to maintain the same lure speed. Every version has the handle on the left and a black finish.
The H.A.M. hardened brass drive gear is cut with Japanese Hamai precision. The Bulldog Carbon Drag System controls line release under load. The seven-bearing arrangement comprises two High Spin corrosion-resistant bearings, four stainless bearings and one Dead Stop anti-reverse bearing, which prevents backward rotation.
The HD aluminium frame has Ocean Armor 2 treatment, anti-electrolysis screw pads and a water-channeling design. These construction details address protection around the frame and fasteners. A reinforced, railed clutch cam supports the clutch mechanism, while the Generation II hard-anodized worm shaft forms part of the line-lay mechanism.
The Gen II line guide design includes the Arrowhead Line Guide. The Beetle Wing Rapid Access side plate gives quick access to the side-plate area for adjustments. The integrated KeepR hook keeper provides a place to secure the lure hook between casts or when moving. The reel is compatible with Trick Shop components.
