The 2 mm / 4 mm version is the thinnest and lightest, ideal for fine rig work and smaller hooks. The 3 mm / 6 mm version fits medium-sized hooks and is a good all-round choice. The 4 mm / 8 mm version is the thickest and most robust, suited for heavy-duty catfish rigs with large hooks and trebles.
The Rig Tube has three main applications: as knot protection that slides over hook knots and line wraps, as an underwater float stopper on the main line, and as a bait stop to secure bait on the hook. Its flexibility makes it suitable for many catfish rig setups.
Yellow is highly visible and useful when you want to spot your rig components easily. Khaki blends in with natural underwater environments and is a good choice when a discreet presentation is preferred. Red can be useful in murky water or when you want a colour that stands out during rigging but is less visible to fish at depth.
