The Scouta Jig Spinner is a fast-searching 10g metal lure from the Spro Freestyle range, built for European anglers who need to cover water quickly and locate active predators such as perch, zander and smaller pike.

Compact body, heavy casts

A dense metal jig body paired with a spinning blade creates a small profile at a full 10g casting weight. The result is long, flat casting arcs even in wind, so you can probe drop-offs, channel edges and the far bank that lighter inline spinners cannot reach.

Gamakatsu Double 21 hook

Each Scouta is armed with a sharp Gamakatsu Double 21 in size 8. Point the hook upward and the twin bends tuck close to the body, letting you work snaggy ground, rocks and sunken wood with fewer hang-ups. Rotate the hook downward and you gain maximum hook-up rates over clean bottom and in open water.

Six natural and attractor finishes

Choose a natural tone such as Roach or Herring for clear water and pressured fish, and switch to an attractor finish — Fire Tiger, Fire Dragon, Red Head or Fluoro Pink — when visibility drops or the fish need provoking into a reaction strike.

Fishing the Scouta

A straight retrieve gets the blade spinning immediately; add short rod lifts for an erratic rise-and-fall that imitates a wounded baitfish. Well matched to spin rods in roughly the 10–30g cast class, fished on braid with a fluorocarbon leader, or a wire trace when pike are a possibility.
