The Iris The Frog is designed primarily for pike, but it also works well for other predatory freshwater species that feed on frogs and surface prey.
The Iris The Frog is compatible with jig heads, offset hooks, and worm hooks. Offset hooks are particularly popular for fishing in weedy areas, as they reduce snagging.
Both variants have the same size (10 cm) and weight (10 g). The difference is purely the colour pattern: Redhead features a red head section, while Firetiger uses the classic firetiger colour scheme with green, yellow, and orange tones. Firetiger is a proven all-round pattern, while Redhead adds a strong visual trigger.
The soft rubber compound allows the legs to move enticingly even at very slow retrieve speeds. A slow, steady retrieve works well, but you can also add pauses and twitches to trigger reaction strikes from pike.
