The Ikiru Silent Jerk is designed for predatory freshwater species such as pike, zander and perch. Its compact 9.5 cm size and natural colour patterns make it effective across a range of predator sizes.
Use a jerking or twitching retrieve with regular pauses. During the pauses, the lure sinks slowly and appears to freeze in the water, which often triggers strikes from following predators. It works well on both spinning and light baitcasting tackle.
For clear water, natural baitfish patterns like Perch, Gudgeon, Brown Trout or Pike work well. In murky or stained water, try brighter options such as Chartreuse Back. If you are targeting specific predators, matching the local forage fish (e.g. Mackerel for coastal pike) can be effective.
The maximum diving depth is 1 m. This makes it suitable for shallow-water fishing along reed edges, over submerged weed beds, and in the upper water column where predators often hunt.
