The Abu Garcia Beast Pro (Beast Professional) casting rod series delivers a compelling combination of strength, speed and reduced weight for serious freshwater predator fishing. Compared to its predecessor, the Beast Pro is nearly 20% lighter while offering improved action and power.
At the heart of the Beast Pro series is a 36T carbon blank enhanced with nanotechnology. This construction achieves a blank that is tough, fast and powerful, yet noticeably lighter than conventional designs. The result is less fatigue during long casting sessions and more precise lure control.
Every Beast Pro rod features Fuji Stainless Steel Alconite anti-tangle guides (10 per rod including tip) paired with a Fuji ACS reel seat. These premium components ensure smooth line flow and a secure, comfortable reel connection.
The handle is crafted from A-grade cork, providing a natural, warm grip with excellent sensitivity and comfort in all weather conditions. A hook keeper is included for convenience.
The series includes three variants covering a range of predator techniques:
7311 MH (2.21 m, 148 g, 25–70 g casting weight, extra fast action) — a versatile medium heavy rod ideal for jerkbaits and medium-sized lures
