Spro Spex8 Braid is an eight-strand braided fishing line designed for lure fishing. Its braid construction and coating provide a very smooth surface for smooth line handling during spinning. High knot strength is another shared feature, supporting the tied connection in your setup.
The available diameter and breaking-strain pairs are 0.09 mm / 5.9 kg, 0.12 mm / 8.2 kg, 0.15 mm / 10.5 kg, 0.18 mm / 11.8 kg, 0.21 mm / 13.6 kg, 0.24 mm / 15.9 kg, 0.27 mm / 18.2 kg and 0.30 mm / 22.7 kg. Choose a thinner version when a fine line is the priority, or a thicker version when you need a higher stated breaking strain. Within this range, increased breaking strain always comes with increased diameter.
