The Gravity Twitch SR is available in five sizes: 6.7cm (6g), 8.3cm (10g), and 9.5cm (15g) in suspending action, plus 11.5cm (25g) and 14.5cm (50g) in floating action. This range covers depths from 0.5m to 2m, suitable for perch, pike, trout, and other predatory fish.
For shallow, clear waters and small predators (perch, trout), start with the 6.7cm or 8.3cm suspending models. For pike and larger predators in moderate depths, the 9.5cm or 11.5cm models excel. For pike hunting in deeper zones or from the shore, the 14.5cm floating model reaches further and covers greater depths with minimal effort.
Suspending models (6.7–9.5cm) hang horizontally during pauses, making them ideal for finesse fishing and slow presentations where fish have time to inspect the lure. Floating models (11.5–14.5cm) rise during pauses, allowing control of running depth through rod angle and retrieve speed. Floating models are more versatile for covering multiple depths and situations.
Natural baitfish patterns (Roach, Perch, Pike) work well in clear water and realistic conditions. Chrome finishes (Blue Chrome, Ayu Chrome, Green Silver) excel in bright sunlight and slightly turbid water. Aggressive patterns (Firetiger, Dirty Roach) trigger strikes in low-light conditions and stained water. Match local baitfish species for best results, then experiment with contrasting colors if strikes slow.
Use short twitches with the rod tip to trigger darting, erratic action. Alternate between active retrieves and pauses—the lure's horizontal balance during pauses often triggers strikes. Vary retrieve speed and pause length to find the pattern fish prefer. The built-in rattle attracts fish from distance, so longer pauses often work well. A stop-and-go rhythm is highly effective.
