The Fox Rage TR series is a lightweight spinning reel range built for active lure fishing. Both sizes share the same low-profile design, smooth 10+1 bearing setup and strong magnesium-based construction, with the choice between a faster 1500 and a slightly larger 2500.
The TR is Fox Rage's flagship fixed spool reel in this range. It combines a sleek bail arm, a high-grip spool band for direct braid attachment and a carbon-reinforced rotor to keep the reel stable under load.
A magnesium body keeps overall weight down, while the CNC aluminium drive gear is designed for smoother mechanical action. The carbon bearing cover also helps reduce unnecessary weight while adding protection.
The 1500 size weighs 220 g, retrieves 79 cm per handle turn and is matched to 150 m of 0.10 mm braid. The 2500 size weighs 232 g, retrieves 74 cm per turn and is matched to 150 m of 0.16 mm braid.
Both variants use a cork/EVA handle for secure grip in wet conditions, front drag for direct control and an anti-reverse system for solid hook-setting response. Spare spools are also available.
