The Revenge SG2 Medium Game is a family of two-piece freshwater spinning rods for soft lures, crankbaits, spinners, spinnerbaits, twitch baits and Carolina rigs. Balanced 24+30T high-modulus carbon blanks provide feedback for lure control, with forgiving actions intended to reduce hook pulls and line breaks when playing fish. The range covers perch and zander fishing, with trout also explicitly identified for the 1.98 m and 2.51 m versions rated 7–23 g.
Match the casting-weight range to your lure or rig first, then compare length, power and action. The 7–23 g rods have Medium Light power. The 7–25 g, 10–30 g and 12–35 g rods have Medium power. The 14–40 g and 15–45 g versions have Medium Heavy power for the heavier end of the range, rather than its lightest lures.
