The 17 cm lure weighs 47 g, has one treble and runs at a stated 0.3–1 m. The 25 cm lure weighs 100 g, has two trebles and runs at 0.5–1.8 m. Choose between the smaller, lighter presentation and the larger lure with a deeper running range, matching your tackle to the lure weight.
Screw the curl tail on pointing upwards to lift the head and make the lure run just beneath the surface with a wake. With the tail pointing down, the head is pushed down for a relatively consistent subsurface depth. Tail orientation therefore changes the presentation, not the lure's slow-sinking buoyancy.
Yes. The curl tail remains active on an ultra-slow retrieve while the front section stays steady. It is designed for cautious freshwater pike, so you can slow the presentation without giving up tail movement.
It lets the hook detach from the lure body during a fight while staying connected to the rig. The built-in swivel reduces the fish's ability to use the lure as leverage when rolling and helps protect the soft section from its teeth. The hook is not released from the fishing setup.
Each pack contains one lure in your chosen size and colour, not an assortment. Both sizes come in Silver Pike, Firetiger, Blue Pike, Toxic Pike, Pike, Red Pike and White Pike, so size and colour can be selected separately.

The Savage Gear 3D Hybrid Pike is a baby-pike imitation for freshwater pike fishing. This slow-sinking hybrid lure combines a steady front section with an active soft curl tail, allowing an ultra-slow retrieve for cautious pike without losing tail movement. Scanned 3D details and photo-printed colours reproduce the baitfish's appearance, while a built-in rattle adds sound.
Screw the tail on pointing down for a retrieve below the surface at a relatively consistent depth. In this position, the force on the tail pushes the lure's head down. Turn the tail upwards to lift the head and bring the lure just beneath the surface, where it creates a pronounced wake. This lets you switch between a subsurface presentation and a near-surface wake without changing the lure.
The rotating release rig allows the hook to detach from the lure body when a fish is hooked, while remaining connected to the rig. A built-in swivel makes it harder for a rolling fish to use the lure as leverage to pull the hooks free. The system also helps keep the soft section out of the fish's teeth during the fight. The lure is fitted with SGY 1X BN treble hooks.
The 17 cm version weighs 47 g, has one treble hook and a stated running depth of 0.3–1 m. It is the smaller, lighter option with the shallower depth range. The 25 cm version weighs 100 g, has two trebles and a stated running depth of 0.5–1.8 m. Choose it for a larger pike imitation and a deeper running range, allowing for the higher lure weight when selecting your tackle. Both versions sink slowly and offer the same two tail positions.
Both sizes are available in Silver Pike, Firetiger, Blue Pike, Toxic Pike, Pike, Red Pike and White Pike. Choose the size and running range first, then the colour pattern you want. Each pack contains one lure in the selected size and colour.
