Tungsten is 35% denser than lead, allowing for a much smaller profile that reduces snags and provides better feel. Choose based on water depth and current. Use 3.5–5g in shallow water (under 3m) with light current. Select 7–10g for deeper water (3–5m+) or moderate to strong current. Heavier weights maintain bottom contact in deeper presentations and faster drifts.
