Spro Bleilifter - 2 Schleppblei Lifter: lift the sinker clear during the fight

These sinker lifters are designed for trolling for salmon and sea trout. Their shape and flat construction push the lifter towards the surface, bringing the trolling sinker up quickly during the fight. This reduces the risk of the sinker or hooked fish becoming snagged on underwater obstacles after a bite.

Attachment to the trolling rig

An integrated sturdy barrel swivel and snap swivel provide straightforward attachment to the line or trolling rig. The lifter works with the trolling sinker, helping bring the fish out of the area where it could snag.

Choose the size for your sinker

Size S measures approximately 5 × 3 cm and is suitable for trolling sinkers up to 125 g. Size L measures approximately 7 × 4 cm and is recommended for sinkers from 125 to 200 g. Choose by sinker weight, with the larger L version covering the heavier range. Both sizes are recommended at 125 g.

Pack contents

Each pack contains two sinker lifters in the selected size.

Frequently asked

Should I choose size S or L for my trolling sinker?

Choose S for sinkers up to 125 g or L for sinkers from 125 to 200 g. S measures approximately 5 × 3 cm, while L measures approximately 7 × 4 cm. The sinker weight determines the choice, and both sizes cover 125 g.

What does the lifter do when trolling for salmon or sea trout?

It brings the trolling sinker quickly towards the surface during the fight. Its shape and flat construction push it upwards, reducing the risk of the sinker or hooked fish snagging on obstacles after a bite. It reduces that risk rather than eliminating it.

How does the lifter attach, and how many are included?

The integrated sturdy barrel swivel and snap swivel allow straightforward attachment to the line or trolling rig. Each pack contains two lifters in the chosen size, so select S or L to suit your sinker weight before ordering.
