The LS-5013 is intended for lugworms and ragworms when surf or boat fishing for flounder, plaice and other flatfish. Its long shank and narrow bend help small-mouthed flatfish take the bait. It can also be used on natural-bait rigs for cod.
The straight eye allows the hook to be knotted onto surf rigs and flatfish traces. The pack contains loose hooks, so choose or tie the trace separately rather than expecting a complete ready-tied rig.
Sizes #6, #4, #2 and #1 contain 25 hooks per pack, while #1/0 and #2/0 contain 10. Choose the size for your rig and bait presentation, then check the pack count because the two larger sizes supply fewer hooks.

The Gamakatsu LS-5013 is a black sea hook for surf and boat fishing with lugworms and ragworms. Its long shank and narrow bend help flatfish with relatively small mouths take the bait.
Use these worm hooks for flounder, plaice and other flatfish. They can also be used on natural-bait rigs for cod, so the same pattern covers both flatfish fishing and this additional sea-fishing application.
The straight eye lets you knot the hook directly onto surf rigs and flatfish traces. These are loose hooks for tying onto your chosen rig, not complete ready-tied traces.
Sizes #6, #4, #2 and #1 each contain 25 hooks. Sizes #1/0 and #2/0 each contain 10 hooks. Choose the hook size for your rig and bait presentation, and note the lower pack quantity in the two larger sizes. All variants share the black colour, straight eye, long shank and narrow bend.
