They are intended for method feeder fishing with feeders for carp, tench, bream and other coarse fish. Each hook is already tied to 12 cm of transparent monofilament, so you can select a pre-tied hooklink for this setup rather than tying a loose hook yourself.
Size #6 uses 0.28 mm line, while sizes #8 and #10 both use 0.25 mm line. Choose #6 for the largest hook and thicker line, or compare #8 and #10 when you want to change hook size while keeping the same diameter. All are 12 cm long, and no breaking strain is specified.
A short hair at the hook shank is provided for mounting different hookbaits. It holds the bait securely even during powerful casts, making these hooklinks suitable when casting with a feeder. Specific bait types or bait sizes are not listed.
Each pack contains six bronze-coloured hooks already tied to transparent monofilament. All six are supplied in the selected hook-size and line-diameter combination, so choose the pack matching the hooklink specifications you need.

The Gamakatsu Method Feeder Spike 12cm hooklinks combine a pre-tied feeder hook with a short hair for mounting different hookbaits. They are intended for method feeder fishing with feeders for carp, tench, bream and other coarse fish. The hair holds the bait securely even during powerful casts, helping it stay in place on the hooklink.
Each bronze-coloured hook is tied to a 12 cm length of transparent monofilament. The wide hook gape helps hook fish securely after they take the bait. The short hair sits at the hook shank and provides the bait attachment, so the hooklinks arrive already tied rather than as loose hooks.
There are three combinations: size #6 with 0.28 mm line, size #8 with 0.25 mm line and size #10 with 0.25 mm line. Choose #6 if you need the largest hook in the range and the thicker line. Sizes #8 and #10 let you choose a smaller hook without changing the line diameter, with #10 the smallest option. All three retain the same 12 cm length and short-hair construction. No breaking strain is specified, so line diameter alone does not provide a strength rating.
Each pack contains six pre-tied hooks in the selected hook-size and line-diameter combination.
