The weights (22g, 28g, 35g, 42g, 56g) are selected based on water depth and current. Lighter weights (22g–35g) suit shallower swims or calm water, while heavier baskets (42g–56g) maintain position in deeper water or stronger currents. Match the weight to your fishing conditions for optimal basket control and pellet delivery.
The Easy Change Tube (ECT) is a quick-release connector on the basket. Instead of tying new rigs each cast, you simply unclip the basket and clip another in place. This saves time and reduces tangles when swapping feeder baskets between casts.
The side openings allow water to flow through naturally, releasing pellets over time. This creates a controlled feed that attracts fish without overfeeding. The longer the basket sits on the bottom, the more pellets are released, creating a natural feeding pattern that coarse fish respond to.
These baskets are specifically designed for coarse fish pellets (bream, tench, ide, carp, etc.). While you could experiment with other baits, the basket size and release mechanism are optimized for standard 3–6mm pellets used in method feeder fishing.
Start with 35g as a middle ground. Use 22–28g for shallow swims (under 3m) with no current. Choose 42–56g for deep water (over 5m) or when fishing in stronger currents. You can adjust by keeping multiple weights in your tackle box and switching between casts based on conditions.
