A soft-rubber teaser with a lead inner core and pulsating tentacles, developed with Stefan Seuß for anglers targeting Wels catfish using the clonk (Wallerholz, the traditional catfish-calling stick) or vertical fishing directly beneath the boat.
The special rubber compound is highly elastic, so each twitch of the rod tip sets the individual tentacles dancing like a live bundle of worms. In the current, the tentacles also move on their own and keep the teaser alive between lifts.
The rubber body is engineered to absorb direct catfish takes without tearing. A Wels attacking the teaser head-on compresses the material rather than destroying it, so the lure survives repeated hits and stays fishable session after session.
The tentacles accept Black Cat Flavour Spray and comparable scent treatments. A quick re-dip between drifts adds a scent trail to the visual and vibration signal — often worth a bite when fish are pressured or water temperatures drop.
Lighter 80 g teasers suit shallower swims and slow-drifting presentations; 120 g is the all-round workhorse for typical rivers and reservoirs; 160 g punches through deep or fast water and holds the strike zone longer. Yellow and pink give a high-contrast visual cue in stained or low-light water, while Real Worm mimics the natural bait for clearer conditions.
