The Cat Ball is a rubber-coated vertical head (a weight designed for vertical fishing from a boat) that presents lures quietly and snag-free over known catfish (Waller) holds.
A rounded body with a flattened underside lets the head settle onto the bottom silently. A thick rubber layer shrouds the lead core and further muffles contact with wood, rock and mussel beds.
Two stainless-steel eyes protruding at a 90° angle provide clean fixing points for the mainline on one side and the stinger or hook trace on the other. Baiting is quick, and the stretched presentation keeps the lure tangle-free on the descent and on the lift.
Intended for active vertical fishing from boats, belly-boats and pontoons. Match the weight to depth and current — 80 g for shallower or lighter water, 120 g as an all-rounder, 160 g for deep runs and heavy baits — and choose matte black for cautious fish or self-luminous for stained or low-light water.
