Yes, they are intended for eel fishing with lobworms. An extra barb on the shank helps hold the worm in place, and each hook is already tied to a 70 cm hooklength, so you do not have to tie the hook before baiting it.
Size #6 comes on 0.25 mm line, #4 and #2 on 0.30 mm line, and #1 and #1/0 on 0.35 mm line. All hooklengths are 70 cm long. Select the fixed combination that matches the hook size and line diameter you need, rather than choosing those specifications separately.
Sizes #6 and #4 contain 10 pre-tied hooks, #2 and #1 contain 8, and #1/0 contains 6. Each supplied hook has its own 70 cm hooklength, so compare the pack quantity as well as hook size when buying replacements.

These pre-tied single hooks are intended for eel fishing with lobworms. Each hook is tied to a 70 cm hooklength, so you do not need to tie the hook yourself. An extra barb on the shank helps hold the worm bait in place.
The shank barb provides extra hold for worm baits, which matters when presenting a lobworm for eels. All versions have a very sharp hook point.
The variants differ in hook size, line diameter and the number of pre-tied hooks supplied. The hooklength is always 70 cm. Size #6 is the smallest hook in this family and #1/0 is the largest. Choose the hook size and line diameter together, as they are supplied in fixed combinations.
| Hook size | Line diameter | Pre-tied hooks supplied | | --- | --- | --- | | #6 | 0.25 mm | 10 | | #4 | 0.30 mm | 10 | | #2 | 0.30 mm | 8 | | #1 | 0.35 mm | 8 | | #1/0 | 0.35 mm | 6 |
Sizes #4 and #2 share the same line diameter but differ in hook size and pack quantity. Sizes #1 and #1/0 also share a line diameter, with fewer hooks supplied in the #1/0 pack.
