Both work. A steady retrieve produces lateral movement, while short jerks with pauses bring out direction changes and flank flashes. It works at slow and fast speeds, so you can vary the presentation with the same lure.
Choose 7cm for the smaller profile or 10cm for the larger one when fishing for predators such as pike and zander. The smaller models are also suited to perch, trout and asp. For Real Hot Perch, Green Pike, Wounded Real Grey Shiner, Real Roach, Holo Tiger and Chart, the respective weights are 17g and 36g with a stated 1m running depth. Use the selected variant's listed weight to check setup suitability. These figures are not specified for the other colors.
All variants in this line are Floating. Each pack contains one lure in the selected size and decor, so choose the pattern separately from size rather than expecting a different buoyancy model or a color assortment.
The product may contain lead or cadmium, and prolonged exposure can be harmful. Wash hands thoroughly after handling and avoid ingestion or contact with food, keeping lure handling separate from eating or food preparation.

The Salmo Slider Floating is a floating glider jerkbait for predator lure fishing, including pike and zander. Its side-to-side movement works on a steady retrieve, while short jerks and pauses bring out a more pronounced action with flashes of its flanks. The straightforward presentation also makes it accessible to beginners.
Retrieve steadily for lateral movement, or combine a series of short jerks with stops to alternate direction changes and flank flashes. The Slider works with both slow and fast retrieves, so you can change pace without changing lure. Its profile is particularly relevant where deep-bodied prey fish such as silver bream and bream occur.
This line offers 7cm and 10cm versions. Choose 7cm for a smaller lure profile, with the smaller models also suited to perch, trout and asp. Choose 10cm when you want the larger profile for predator fishing. Both sizes retain the Floating model's buoyancy and flexible retrieve options.
Both sizes are available in Real Hot Perch, Green Pike, Wounded Real Grey Shiner, Real Roach, Holo Tiger, Chart, Bleeding Blue Shad, Red Wake and Holo Smelt. These are alternative decor patterns, not different buoyancy models.
For Real Hot Perch, Green Pike, Wounded Real Grey Shiner, Real Roach, Holo Tiger and Chart, the 7cm version weighs 17g and the 10cm version weighs 36g. Their stated running depth is 1m. Check the chosen variant's weight when selecting your setup. Weight and running depth are not specified for Bleeding Blue Shad, Red Wake or Holo Smelt.
The pack contains one lure in the selected variant. This product may contain chemicals such as lead or cadmium. Prolonged exposure can be harmful. Wash hands thoroughly after handling and avoid ingestion or contact with food.
