The WFT KG Strong is an 8-carrier braided line built for anglers who demand reliability across a wide range of techniques and environments — from river spinning to deep-sea fishing in Norway and beyond.
The 8-carrier construction creates a genuinely round profile, which makes a real difference on the water. Round braid casts farther, releases from the spool smoothly, and — critically — doesn't dig into lower line layers under load. It also presents less surface area to current, noticeably reducing line drift when fishing at depth or in flowing water.
WFT has integrated new colour pigments into a dedicated surface coating that slows colour fading by a factor of ten compared to standard braids. The same coating protects against abrasion, keeping the line performing session after session without the degradation common in cheaper alternatives.
The KG Strong 600 m spool is available in four colours at 0.25 mm / 39 kg. Each colour suits different fishing situations:
