The Spro HD Baitfish Rig is a fully assembled steel leader built for deadbait and livebait pike fishing. Mount your small to medium baitfish and get straight to work — no rigging fuss required.
The leader is made from 7x7 stainless steel American Fishing Wire in a tarnished brown colour that blends naturally in the water. The 7x7 strand count delivers excellent flexibility and limpness compared to stiffer single-strand wires, so the bait moves naturally while still providing full bite-off protection against pike teeth.
A mounted Gamakatsu treble hook sits at the tail end for a solid hookset, while a free-running single hook can be positioned along the body of the baitfish to match its size and hold it securely. Crimp sleeves are covered with heat-shrink tubing for a clean, professional finish that protects the connections and improves durability.
