The Akita is a slim, hard-bodied crankbait that punches well above its profile, delivering an enticing wobbling action from the very first turn of the reel – deadly on pike and zander in deeper water.
Don't let the streamlined body fool you. The Akita generates a tight, vigorous wiggle on a straight retrieve, making it irresistible even to reluctant predators. Its sinking design lets you count it down to the exact depth where fish are holding, giving you precise depth control throughout the retrieve.
The Akita handles two very different presentations equally well. Wind it in steadily and it tracks true at 2–4 m depth; switch to a twitch-and-pause approach and the sinking action creates a dying-baitfish flutter on the drop that triggers reaction strikes. This flexibility makes it a go-to lure across a wide range of conditions.
