The Salmo Rattlin' Hornet Floating 5.5cm 10.5g Clear Green Gill combines the legendary Hornet action with internal rattles and long-cast SICS technology for a versatile crankbait that provokes strikes from pike, perch, zander, bass, trout, and walleye.
Internal rattles create constant acoustic attraction during the retrieve and pauses, drawing predators from greater distances. The strong wobbling action is easily felt at the rod tip, giving you precise control during irregular retrieves, light twitches, and stop-and-go presentations.
Equipped with Mustad KVD Triple Grip hooks and Rasco split rings, this floating crankbait dives to 2–4m and features High-Impact Plastic (HIP) construction with Ultrasonic Body Welding (UBW). Each lure is individually hand-tuned and tank-tested in Poland for perfect swimming action straight from the package.
The Rattlin' Hornet Floating series offers three sizes for different conditions and target species:
3.5cm (3–3.1g) – shallow water (1–1.8m), ultralight tactics for perch, trout, and small bass
4.5cm (5.5–6g) – medium depth (1.8–3.4m), all-around choice for perch, walleye, and bass in streams and lakes
5.5cm (10.5g, Clear Green Gill) – deeper water (2–4m), ideal for larger perch, pike, zander, and bass in rivers and reservoirs
6.5cm (20g) – maximum depth (2.5–5m), trolling and casting for pike, zander, wels catfish, and trophy bass
