Unlike floating crankbaits, the Countdown sinks at a predictable rate — count it down to your target depth, then retrieve. This controlled descent lets you work specific depth layers in rivers and lakes without guessing, making it especially effective when fish are holding tight to a thermocline or structure.

Rolling Action That Triggers Reaction Strikes

The hand-tuned balsa body transmits every rod and current input into a tight, seductive rolling action during the retrieve. On a pause, the lure flutters enticingly in place rather than rising — a behaviour that frequently draws strikes from following fish. Black nickel treble hooks (2× size 10) are sharp straight from the pack and complement the natural finish of the Orange Tiger colour.
