The BX Minnow's balsa core delivers the responsive, natural swimming action Rapala is known for, while the reinforced body resists cracking and crushing from pike teeth and repeated use. You get the best of both worlds: the lifelike wobble of wood and the durability of hard plastic.
With a running depth of 0.6–1.2 m, this 7 cm, 7 g minnow is ideal for working over shallow flats, along weed edges, and around structure in rivers or lakes. The tight, responsive action kicks in even at low retrieve speeds — making it effective in cold water or when fish are sluggish. At 7 g it also casts well on light to medium spinning gear.
