Prologic Chod - Hinged Stiff Rig STD 4cm - 3 Karpfenrigs
incl. VAT, excl.
A ready-tied carp rig built for silty, weedy, or algae-covered bottoms, the Prologic Chod Hinged Stiff Rig (Chod — Hinged Stiff Rig) keeps your pop-up bait suspended enticingly just above the lakebed while resisting tangle on the cast.
The stiff Chod Mono section, chosen for its strong memory effect, holds the rig's classic curved shape cast after cast. This means the hook point stays perfectly angled and the pop-up rides at a consistent height above silt or weed — exactly where carp are feeding. The 4 cm rig length is well suited to standard chod presentations with a range of pop-up sizes.
A Fluorocarbon Spectrum Boom transfers smoothly into the stiff Chod Mono section, giving the rig excellent flight characteristics so tangles on the cast are kept to a minimum. The rig is fitted with a ring swivel, D-ring, metal ring, and a quick-change swivel, making bait changes fast and giving you solid, reliable connections throughout. Each pack includes 3 ready-to-use rigs plus bait stops — just clip on and cast.
The Prologic Chod Hinged Stiff Rig STD is available in different hook sizes. Match the hook to your bait size and the carp you are targeting:
Size 6 — 4 cm — 9.07 kg — XC8 — Fluorocarbon, Chod Mono: A versatile all-round choice, well suited to medium to larger pop-ups (14–18 mm) and general carp fishing at close to medium range.
Size 8 — 4 cm — 9.07 kg — XC8 — Fluorocarbon, Chod Mono: A slightly smaller hook option, ideal for smaller pop-ups (10–14 mm) or situations where a more subtle presentation is needed.
