The 200 cm leader is made from fluorocarbon, a material with a refractive index close to water that makes the line virtually invisible to wary trout. The extra length gives you versatility: shorten it for pond work, or fish it at full stretch under a Sbirulino float to reach trout holding in the mid-water column.
The LS-608 hook features a strongly offset (geschränkt) point — the tip sits at an angle to the shank rather than in line with it. Combined with a fine-wire construction and a razor-sharp point, this geometry bites into the fish's mouth with minimal resistance and greatly reduces the chance of a missed strike, which is critical when trout are mouthing baits tentatively.
