Unlike a conventional lead, the Bodentaster sinks slowly and gently, preventing it from burying itself in soft or silty lake beds after touchdown. Once settled, it stands upright on the bottom, lifting your bait into the strike zone and keeping the presentation clean and visible.

Resistance-Free Bite Detection
