The Balzer Shirasu Screw Jig is a lead jig head with an integrated screw/spiral (Schraubkopf) that threads directly into any soft-bait head, giving predator anglers a secure, rattle-free mount in seconds.
The built-in corkscrew spiral drives cleanly into the nose of a shad or grub body with just a few turns. There's no glue, no additional hardware, and no fuss — the soft bait stays perfectly centred on the head, ensuring natural action on every retrieve.
A single jig head eyelet is rarely enough when targeting hard-striking predators. The Shirasu Screw Jig features two attachment eyelets so you can mount a stinger hook via a quick-change clip or split ring at whichever position suits your bait length and intended technique — spinning, jigging, deadsticking, or lazy-style fishing.
The Balzer Shirasu Screw Jig is available in several weights to match different water depths, current speeds, and target species. Select lighter heads for shallow or slow presentations and heavier heads for deep water or strong currents.
