Built on the knowledge of Balzer's Norway specialists, this two-hook sea rig is the XXL evolution of the classic herring trace — designed to perform where conditions leave no room for compromise.
This rig has established itself as a highly effective setup for cod (Dorsch), coalfish (Köhler), and pollack. The oversized 8/0 hooks and heavy 0.90 mm line diameter handle the demands of deep saltwater fishing, keeping even powerful fish firmly on the trace from hook-set to net.
Balzer developed this system specifically for demanding Norwegian offshore conditions.
