The X-Rap Haku carries its hook rig flush in a dedicated belly groove, shielding the trebles from weed, stumps, and debris during the retrieve. At the moment of a strike, the rig springs free from the body, creating direct, unobstructed contact with the fish — dramatically reducing the chance of a lost pike at the net.

Two Retrieves, One Versatile Action

The Haku's gliding swimming action can be dialled in two ways. A sharp rod jerk produces a fast, aggressive lateral dart that triggers reaction strikes from following fish. Switch to a Stop & Go retrieve and the lure settles into a longer, slower glide — ideal when pike are following but need more time to commit. A fast wind between pauses imitates a fleeing baitfish and can draw strikes from neutral fish.
