The full-metal body and sideplate keep internals perfectly aligned under heavy loads, and 5 sealed stainless steel ball bearings plus an Instant Anti-Reverse bearing guarantee dependable performance in harsh conditions.

Long Stroke spool for superior line lay

The machined aluminium Long Stroke spool works with a slow oscillation system to lay line evenly and tightly, minimising friction on the cast. Braid-ready from the box, the spool holds 485 m of 0.35 mm mono or up to 540 yards of 30 lb braid. At 748 g with a 94 cm retrieve per turn, the 8000 balances power and handling for long-range sessions.
