Balzer used a 3D printer to develop the mould for the Clone Shad, resulting in a body profile that closely mirrors a natural baitfish. The detail is further enhanced by a 3D photo-print design that replicates the markings and colours of real prey fish — giving cautious predators in clear water one less reason to refuse.

Paddle Tail Action That Produces Pressure Waves

The paddle tail generates rhythmic pressure waves on every retrieve, activating the lateral lines of nearby pike, perch, and zander. This makes the Clone Shad effective even in low-visibility or murky conditions where visual cues alone may not be enough to trigger a strike.
