Proven Two-Hook Setup for Flatfish and Cod

With two hook droppers spaced along a 95 cm main trace (0.60 mm diameter), this rig presents two worm baits at different levels in the tide. Each dropper is tied from 0.40 mm monofilament, keeping baits supple and natural in the current — exactly what plaice, flounder, and cod are looking for.

Attractors Built Right In

Each hook dropper is threaded with attractor beads and fitted with a spinner blade, adding colour and flash to draw fish in from a distance through turbid surf water. The size 1 worm hooks are sized to match ragworm, lugworm, and similar natural baits commonly used in surf and harbour fishing.
