CLAII3000 CLASH II 3000 REEL BOX
incl. VAT, excl.
The Penn Clash II 3000 combines CNC-machined gears, a sealed carbon drag, and hydrophobic bearings in a full-metal body built for saltwater angling.
Penn's CNC Gear technology machines the pinion and main gear to digital precision, delivering smoother rotation and extended service life. The 9-bearing system (8+1 stainless steel) includes a hydrophobic line roller bearing that repels water, while the Clutch Armor System shields critical components from spray and salt without adding weight.
The HT-100 carbon fiber drag washers provide consistent, fade-free braking up to 6.8 kg, giving you control over hard-running inshore species. The Leveline Slow Oscillation System lays line evenly on the aluminum spool (200 m / 0.28 mm mono or 230 m / 0.19 mm braid capacity), reducing wind knots and improving casting distance.
The Clash II range covers light to medium inshore applications. Match the reel size and gear ratio to your target species and technique:
2000 (6.2:1, 68 cm retrieve, 235 g) — light game, small lures, finesse tactics
2500 (6.2:1, 84 cm retrieve, 249 g) — versatile light spinning, trout, small bass
3000 (6.2:1, 89 cm retrieve, 286 g) — eging, sea bass, light shore spinning
3000 HS (7.0:1, 104 cm retrieve, 306 g) — high-speed retrieve for active lure work
4000 (6.2:1, 89 cm retrieve, 301 g) — medium spinning, bluefish, amberjack
4000 HS (7.0:1, 112 cm retrieve, 323 g) — fast-paced jigging and popping
5000 (5.6:1, 96 cm retrieve, 454 g) — shore jigging, barracuda, heavy inshore work
