Gamakatsu Pro-C Method Eyed A1 PTFE Barbless - 10 Angelhaken ohne Widerhaken
incl. VAT, excl.
Designed specifically for method feeder fishing, this barbless, PTFE-coated hook from Gamakatsu combines a razor-sharp curved point with a low-resistance coating for confident hooksets on coarse fish.
The PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) coating on the Pro-C Method Eyed A1 dramatically reduces friction on entry, allowing the curved point to penetrate quickly and cleanly with minimal force. This is particularly valuable during method feeder fishing, where bites can be fast and subtle, and a hesitant hookset can mean a lost fish.
The barbless construction protects the fish during the catch-and-release process, causing less tissue damage and enabling a quick, clean unhooking. This makes the hook well suited for heavily regulated venues and fisheries with strict catch-and-release rules. The angled eye aids rig presentation, keeping the hook positioned correctly in relation to your method feeder setup.
All variants in this range share the same PTFE coating, eyed barbless design, curved point, and grey finish — differing by hook size. Choose your size based on target species, bait size, and fishing conditions:
Smaller sizes — ideal for smaller coarse fish such as roach, bream, and skimmer bream; suited to smaller bait portions and delicate method feeder presentations
Medium sizes — a versatile all-round choice for mixed coarse fisheries; works well with pellets, corn, and paste baits
Larger sizes — best for bigger specimens such as carp and tench; handles larger bait portions with confidence on commercial and club waters
