FTM Tungsten Perle Omura rundes Loch - Tungstenperlen
incl. VAT, excl.
The FTM Omura tungsten beads are purpose-built components for anglers who craft their own ultra light jig heads for trout spinning. Each pack contains 5 beads at 4.6 mm — the largest size in the Omura range, delivering extra weight and a pronounced head profile for deeper drifts and stronger currents.
Tungsten is significantly denser than lead, which means a 4.6 mm Omura bead delivers more weight in a smaller profile than a conventional brass or lead bead of the same diameter. This compact mass helps your soft bait sink quickly and maintain contact with the bottom, even in faster water — a key advantage when targeting trout in streamy conditions.
The round hole allows the bead to slide smoothly onto a wide range of trout hooks. Once positioned, it can be secured with a drop of UV or super glue, creating a solid, streamlined jig head that won't shift during the cast or retrieve. The construction process is quick and straightforward, even streamside.
The Omura beads are available in four sizes to match your hook size, target depth, and current speed. Smaller beads suit lighter finesse setups; larger beads add mass for deeper or faster water.
2.8 mm — 8 pieces: Lightest option; ideal for small hooks and finesse presentations in shallow, calm water or for very small trout
3.3 mm — 7 pieces: Versatile mid-small size; suits a wide range of trout hooks in moderate flow
3.8 mm — 6 pieces: Mid-large size; good balance of weight and profile for varied conditions
4.6 mm — 5 pieces: Largest and heaviest; best for bigger hooks, faster currents, and deeper drifts when targeting larger trout
